About Chabad Youth

Chabad Youth of Melbourne was both founded and assisted by the guidance and encouragement of the Lubavitcher Rebbe and is proud to be amongst those organisations established to disseminate Judaism worldwide.

Established over 40 years ago, under The Yeshivah Centre, Chabad Youth is a vibrant community-based organisation offering a wide range of social, cultural, recreational and educational services to thousands of young people. With the assistance of a dedicated team of volunteers, Chabad Youth has become a steady-growing and extensive association that is committed to instilling and preserving in Jewish youth a strong sense of identity and pride in their Jewish heritage and culture.

Catering to the vast needs and interests of primary, secondary and tertiary aged students, Chabad Youth’s programs incorporate Camp Gan Israel, Daminyan and Chabad Campus. Recently, a new branch has been established called Chabad Sparks specifically designed to provide extra-curricular activities and programming for Jewish school aged students in the wider Jewish community. Chabad Sparks aims to equip the Jewish youth of today with Jewish ideals, which will stay with them throughout their adult lives.
